Last Monday we had a full afternoon! First thing we checked off the list was our route. It’s finished! I think we’re going to have so much fun making our way through Canada, resupplying day 14 on Sasaginnigak Lake, and ending on the Berens river! So much adventure to come!
We go to paddle together and Jack Grabinski, the program director, joined us. He was just as impressed as I was with the girl’s paddling skills.
After that was gear shakedown! We went through our packing list making sure we have what we need and writing down anything we’re missing. Big step closer to being ready!
