What a BIG DAY!! We’re officially packed up!!
It took us about 6 hours to get all our food into two big red packs for the first half of our trip. The other half went into boxes for resupply. There was a lot of stuffing food and re-packing so it would all fit. The food packs weighed 110lbs and 104lbs!
Next we packed our personal bags with all our clothes and our Kettle pack that holds our equipment and camping gear.
The girls have worked so hard to dehydrate and bag all this food, and to find all the gear they will need. It’s crazy to think that we’ll only have these 6 packs to carry all our gear in! I am excited for them to realize it’s all we really need for a month. Life will be getting a lot more simple!
