Ice Climbing Info & Sign Up
Sandstone, Minnesota is home to some of the best year-round climbing in the state. Join Les Voyageurs for a day of ice climbing! Whether you’ve been climbing before, or you are looking to try something new, this is the trip for you! Climbing will be instructed and led by expert guide and alumnus of Les Voyageurs, Mark Morrissey. Mark is a professional wilderness medicine instructor and experienced mountaineer. This trip will give you the opportunity to learn beginner and advanced ice climbing skills in the beauty of northern Minnesota.

WHO: Anyone ages 15-20 (Space is limited to 10 people). No experience required.
WHAT: A day of ice climbing! Beginner to advanced skill options.
WHEN: Sunday, February 22nd - all day
COST: $75. This covers gear rental and expert instruction. Bring your own lunch and water!

General Itinerary
Sunday, February 22nd
Leave LVI basecamp in Sartell at 7:30 am. We have a van and can accomodate a full group. Alternatively, you are welcome to drive yourself. Meet us at Sandstone Ice Park at 9:00 am.
Arrive in Sandstone, MN at 9:00 am
Learn introductory ice climbing skills and techniques. Begin climbing
