Today was a long day in the kitchen. We prepped a lot of the food for our lunches and cooke 80 lbs of ground beef for dinner! We also got to get creative with bay bread flavors, here’s Grace’s recap of the day:
“Today we started off our baking day in the Cathedral culinary room. Once as we got to the room we set up our stations and got to work at lightning speed ⚡. We had our meat log tower to get through, and some bannock and bay bread to make 🫡. After a few weird mishaps with the bay bread and the speaker (tragic 😔), we had gotten almost everything done before we settled down for a well deserved lunch. And then we finished up bagging the bay bread and headed out to the dehydrator ✨. “
After the dehydrator we headed to Harper’s for some relaxation and crew bonding. They were amazing hosts and made a beautiful charcuterie board for us. We hung out by the fire, played some spikeball, and met Harper’s dog. It was a great night to end our long day.
