Hello parents and participants!

It sure doesn't feel like it yet, but summer is quickly approaching. With that comes the LVI 2018 season and all the memories to be made. I'm excited to kick off this season with you guys and can't wait to see what this year has to offer!

I am looking forward to meeting with you guys and getting to know everyone, as well as meeting as a crew and getting this trip all planned out! This will be an exciting but busy time for all of us. The trip will be here before we know it!

This will be my third year with the Les Voyageurs program and my second year as a guide. I went on my first trip in the summer of 2015, couldn't get enough legs under a crew for a Far North trip 2016, then guiding my first crew last summer, 2017. After learning and growing tremendously through this program in each trip i've undertaken, I'm excited to see what this summer has to offer for each of you as well as myself yet again!

I am currently working full-time, I took this last semester off to really hone in on what I'd like to major in. Other than this last semester I've spent the last two years out of high school going to school at the Saint Cloud Technical and Community College to get my generals done before continuing my education at a four year university. I'm excited to leave that on the side for a while during the pre-trip activities and adventures to come!

Utilizing the tools LVI has offered us, such as google calendar, google photos, this blog and website, our crew, as well as your parents will easily be able to follow us along our trip preparations! I will be posting on this blog a minimum of 3 times a week and uploading photos to google photos to keep everyone up to date.

By the end of April, I'd like to have the crew calendar figured out and posted for everyone to view. As school comes to an end, we will begin meeting more regularly to make sure we have every skill we might need on our trip. I'm excited for the parent meeting this Sunday and possibly, finally, our first meeting beforehand as well. If you guys, or parents, have any questions or concerns please feel free to give me a call or send me an email!
