Thank you to the Max

Give to the Max thank you

Yesterday, non-profit supporters across MN donated over $20 million to their favorite charities. Les Voyageurs is humbled to have received just over $12,000 during the 2016 Give to the Max Day. This funding will help us provide scholarships for participants as well as replace our Far North van.

We offer a special thanks to Fred and Roberta Rupp for their $5,000 matching grant and to Fred's 1999 crew for their gift of $1,000.

We are lucky to have such loyal and ardent supporters--and we are very grateful. Of all the "medium-sized" non-profits in MN (annual income between $100,000 and $999,999), Les Voyageurs placed 36th.

All of the final stats from Give to the Max Day can be found at https://www.givemn.org/

This year, Give to the Max day is on November 17th, but you can make your donation now and help put us in the running for a $1,000 or $10,000 "Golden Ticket."

Garage Sale!

We will be selling used tents, stoves, lifejackets, and other gear at a garage sale in St. Cloud. The sale will be held May 13-15; from 7am-5pm each day. The items will be on sale as part of a larger garage sale at the home of the Trigg's, located at 2524 Serenity Drive St. Cloud, MN, 56301.

You can sign up to receive a reminder email about the sale by visiting this page.

New Year, New Website!

We launched our first website in 2006. Since that time we've tried our best to stay up on the latest web functions for our guides and crews and the best way to tell visitors our story.

We're excited to present our redesigned website found at the same location (www.les-voyageurs.org). We hope the new design gives a nice window into the Les Voyageurs program. We chose an option that would highlight our biggest asset--photos. Please be sure to tell anyone who might be interested in an expedition to take a look.

Please let us know if you have feedback or see something that needs to be changed or added.

And finally, we'd like to give a special shout-out to our LVI alumni who have helped us for years with web stuff. Thank you, John Pederson '99, '00 and David O'Keefe '02!
